A Paddle Spacer is the "open" counterpart to a Paddle Blank in pipeline isolation systems . It is a metal disc with a bore (opening) through its center, designed to be installed between two pipe flanges to allow unrestricted flow of media .
The paddle spacer features a distinctive handle that extends beyond the flange outer diameter, providing clear visual indication that the line is in the "open" or flow position. Together with a Paddle Blank, it forms a complete isolation system where the spacer maintains flow during normal operation and can be replaced with a blank during maintenance or shutdown .

Key Features & Benefits:
-
Flow Maintenance: Precisely machined bore allows full, unrestricted flow when the line is in operation .
-
Visual Identification: Extended handle provides immediate visual confirmation that the line is open (unlike blanks which indicate closed position) .
-
Positive Isolation System: Works in conjunction with paddle blanks to create a complete isolation solution for piping systems .
-
Durable Construction: Engineered to withstand high pressures and temperatures with no moving parts to wear out.
